Charles (Chuck)'s Story
For the past 11 years, Chuck and Jeannine have lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma after living in Albuquerque, New Mexico for 43 years. They will have been married 62 years (in June of 2018) and have 3 children, Dawn, Todd, and Beth. We have 6 grandchildren, Eric, Alan, Brian, Kevin, Kory, and Kara, and two great-grandchildren. Chuck's schools include St. Clair High School, Eastern Michigan University and did graduate work at Eastern Michigan, University of Michigan, University of New Mexico, and three other universities. Charles (Chuck) is a retired Teacher, both of band and English. Chuck and Jeannine's travels have taken them to 51 countries and Islands. Some of these countries several times, such as England 9 times, Germany 3 times. Italy 3 times, Virgin Islands 3 times, etc. Some of their favorite places to visit have been Russia, Egypt, Israel, Greece, Luxembourg, Scotland, Ireland, Turkey, Austria, Spain and Morocco. They loved to travel, but can't anymore because of physical limitations. Old age is a real bummer!

Today (June 16, 2017,) is Chuck and Jeannine's 61st wedding anniversary. Our 3 kids and 6 grandkids rented a cottage at Broken Bow, Oklahoma, for 5 days and nights. Including the spouses of those married, and two great grandchildren, there were 17 of us there. They rented the beautiful 5 bedroom cabin two weeks prior to our actual anniversary date because of availability of the cabin and when all could get off work at the same time. We all had a wonderful time together. It might be our last time when all could get together at one time and in one place. They came from Denver, New Mexico, Iowa, Dallas, and Oklahoma.
Our eldest daughter, Dawn, just purchased a home in Spring Hill, Florida. The furniture arrives Monday (August 15, 2016) so Jeannine and I will be flying down there (flying into Orlando) on the 19th for a week to help get her settled. She has a pool, so guess what we'll be doing for a week besides unpacking. We understand Spring Hill is a beautiful city of a little more than 100,000 population. We're anxious to see her home and locale. LATEST DEVELOPMENT; Jeannine and I have also moved to Spring Hill, Florida, across the street from their oldest daughter, Dawn, as of December of 2017. So far we're enjoying it here.
